PROPERTY FROM THE LISTON AND BARBARA LEYENDECKER ESTATE, FORT COLLINS, COLORADO

The setting [of this print] is Ranchos de Taos, located south of Taos [New Mexico]. This village was originally named San Francisco de las Trampas. In the center of the image is the famous church of San Francisco de Asís that Baumann featured in his earlier woodcut Church Ranchos de Taos. - In a Modern Rendering: The Color Woodcuts of Gustave Baumann

Signature
Signed, titled, inscribed 'II' and numbered '79-125' in pencil (from the second printing of approximately 125 impressions, there was also an earlier projected edition of 120), published by the artist (with his Hand-in-Heart inkstamp), framed.
